When you are down to nothing

When you are down to nothing

(Psa 118:24)  This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

You may not have any good reason to praise the Lord, but did you know? He made today with you in mind. God loves you and wishes to see you happy as though you are the only person in the world. His love toward you is unconditional. You can take pleasure in knowing that your prosperity is His desire and His provision. The choice is yours to lay hold of His gift to you.

It is a fact that some days we don’t feel as energetic and emotionally ready to face the day. Some days you wake up feeling down and like a looser. In their quest to identify and encourage us, some formulated the phrase “when you are down to nothing, God is up to something.” Well that sounds good but it is far from the truth. God does not use evil to bring out good in us. He used His son 2000 years ago on the cross of Calvary.

As anointed and appointed as I am there are days when I wake up feeling just as miserable and invalid as any other human being, but I will never walk with depression or discouragement for more than an hour. I don’t wait for God to show me what he is trying to teach me by misery. I lay hold of the victory that Jesus purchased on the cross. I don’t even think about phrases like “when you down to nothing, God is up to something.” God is up to nothing when you are miserable; the devil is up to something. I just start to build myself up in my most Holy Faith. Depression, failure, misery, low self esteem, uncertainty and all other negative emotions are not my portion. I am more than a conqueror (Rom 8:37).

When feeling down there are several ways in which to build ones faith:

  • Study the word of God concerning the matter,
  • confess the word,
  • take courage, don’t wait for it,
  • listen to a teaching that will build your faith,
  • speak to yourself like David
  • avoid emotional teachings that will make you cry over nothing
  • go back to the prophecies of god over your life,

Remember

  • he who fail to plan,
  • plan to fail;
  • plan your success with due dates; remember
  • success does not come by chance, but by choice,
  • you can make it,
  • God is moved by Faith and not confessions, so confess with Faith

As you go about your business today, may you experience the Joy and favor that only God can give. May you see the effect of the hand of God upon your life.
